Before Carter was born we never really thought a lot about the air we were breathing in our home.  But when Carter was born premature it became something that we think about a lot.

I’ve also noticed in the last couple of years, and this year especially, that my spring time allergies are getting worse.  This year I discovered that pet hair is now bothering me during that time.  That’s a pretty big concern since we have a dog that sheds everywhere!

So when I learned about the Blueair Clean Airball I couldn’t wait to try it out!

Within minutes of turning on the Clean Airball I could smell that the air was cleaner.  The air smelled so good I even stuck my nose right up to it so that I could smell more of it.  Wonderful :)

I love the sleek, simple design of the Clean Airball.  Even though I’m sure there are other purifiers that are smaller, I still feel like this looks just fine sitting out in the open because of the pleasant design.

Another feature of the Clean Airball that I think is so convenient is that you can plug it in to a USB port!  So if you want to keep it on your desk but don’t have an outlet nearby you can plug it right into your computer!  How cool?!?

The Clean Airball is very simple to use.  There’s a small button on the back that you push once to turn on the light and the filter, push again to turn the light off and push again to turn the filter off.  So you have the option of running the filter with or without the light.  Although, the light is pretty cool!

When it comes time to replace the Clean Airball filter, you simply lift the top off.  No tools required.

I’ve always been slightly bothered by acne.  Not that I have horrible acne, but I do have breakouts that make me a little insecure sometimes.  It seems like my face is just never clear.  Although there may be times when I don’t have any BIG blemishes, there are always a ton of small ones.  Aside from using store-bought face wash, I’ve never really tried to do much about it.  I just accepted it as an issue and left it at that.

When I was given the opportunity to try Proactiv I couldn’t wait!  I have heard about their products for years and known a few people that have used it with great results.  I was hoping that Proactiv could help with the mild acne problem I have.

Ok, so the pictures may not look very different.  But let me tell you, I sure can tell a difference!  After the first time I used the three-step system my face was already so smooth and soft and I feel like my complexion is a lot nicer now.  I also must admit that I visit a tanning booth a few times a week and have found that my face tans and holds a tan better since using Proactiv.

Just going through the three steps makes me feel like I’m doing something great for my skin.  I love the feeling of the cleanser’s beads, the coolness of the toner and then the smoothness of the repairing treatment to finish off the process.

One slight issue that I had was that I felt like it was drying out my face for the first few days.  This wasn’t surprising to me because I usually have to moisturize my face every day due to it being dry.  I read one of the bottles that if dryness occurs to drop the treatment down to once a day instead of two.  So that’s what I’ve been doing.  I was thankful to have the Green Tea Moisturizer, which really helped.

Proactiv just launched an awesome new feature for their customers called Proactiv 365.  There are expert skin care advisors available 24/7/365 to help you with any problems you’re having and give you one-on-one guidance.  Whether you’d like to speak to them via email, phone or online chat, someone will be there to help!

Proactiv also offers one of the most comprehensive and reliable sources of acne information available.  There are over 500 question and answer topics.  I read through some of them and they are very helpful!  I thought it was user-friendly and loved that things I had wondered about were covered in the FAQ!

As you can see, I do have a few blemishes in the After photos.  Thanks to the FAQ I learned that they start formulating under the skin weeks before we can see them.  Proactiv is all about prevention, so these blemishes were inevitable.  It doesn’t mean that the Proactiv isn’t working.

I am very happy about my experience with Proactiv and definitely plan to continue using it!  If you’ve been interested in trying out Proactiv but had just accepted your acne like I had, I’d definitely recommend giving Proactiv a shot.  I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
