I am so excited to be able to tell all of you about Kim & Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels. Here’s a bit of information from their website:
We’ve added a unique twist to the ancient pretzel by creating a variety of delicious flavors, using custom recipes and premium ingredients. Twisted by hand and baked from scratch, our unique soft pretzels make a wonderful snack anytime!
In addition, their pretzels are made in a nut-free bakery using only all-natural premium ingredients. Their pretzels contain no preservatives, trans fats, or hydrogenated oil. They even have some pretzels that are dairy free, egg free, and gluten free!
Can’t get much better than that, right? Wrong! Their pretzels are absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of trying five different kinds of their gourmet stuffed pretzels – Apple Cinnamon, Cheddar Jalapeno, Chocolate Crumb, Grilled Cheese, and Pizza Pretzel. Let me tell you, I don’t even know which one is my favorite!
They really were all delicious, I have no complaints. Jake and I both tried each kind (with the exception of the Cheddar Jalapeno because I don’t like spicy food and hubby felt that it was too spicy for my liking). Jake loved that the pretzels were a source of whole grain. He also would’ve liked the Grilled Cheese pretzel to have some sort of salt on it since it was pretty much just the pretzel with cheese inside. I, however, was a fan because I usually eat my soft pretzels without salt. So it just comes down to personal preference :)
I should also add that I think the pretzels are even better when they’re prepared in the oven. Jake prefers the microwave because it’s easier and faster, but the oven gives the pretzels a crispy outside that I just enjoy more.

I’ll have to say that the Pizza Pretzel was my favorite out of the salty flavors I tried. And the Chocolate Crumb was my favorite of the sweet flavors. I find myself craving chocolate quite often and the Chocolate Crumb definitely hit the spot with its chocolatey, gooey goodness ;)
